  • Details you give in the Exit Strategy Session form: your industry, annual revenue range, what you want help with, when you plan to sell, and whether you agree to an introduction to a licensed M&A professional, plus your Exit Readiness Scorecard answers and result. The scorecard is scored in your browser and reaches us only when you send the booking form.

D. The Sale-Ready Assessment chat

The chat on /sale-ready/ is run by an AI assistant. Your messages are processed by our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate replies, and the conversation is stored so our team can review it. We don’t share it outside our team without your explicit permission. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

We do not collect sensitive personal data

We do not collect data such as race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, political views, health data, or criminal record information.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • provide and improve our website and services;
  • respond to inquiries;
  • communicate podcast scheduling and guest coordination;
  • send newsletters or updates (only if you opt in or fall under “soft opt-in”);
  • review Sale-Ready assessments and reply when you leave contact details;

  • contracted podcast producers;
  • CRM service providers;
  • email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp);
  • scheduling tools;
  • analytics tools (Google Analytics, Ahrefs Web Analytics).

Chat conversations are not shared with these tools; only our AI provider processes them, to run the chat.

Exit Strategy Session requests. We use what you send in the Exit Strategy Session form to reply to you, and the service providers listed above (such as our email and CRM providers) process it for us. If you tick the optional box that lets us introduce you to a licensed M&A professional, we may share your name, contact details and the business details you gave us with that professional, and only after you tell us you are ready to sell. Without that box, or your later permission, we don’t share them with anyone else.

We never sell or monetize your personal data.

We may share anonymous or aggregated insights (never personally identifiable).

7. International Transfers

Some of our service providers may be located outside the US, UK, or EU.

We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs);
  • adequacy regulations;
  • verified data protection frameworks.
